Recently my wife and I moved away from our home of over 20
years. Our neighbor (Biggie’s ‘Mom’)
also moved away a few weeks later. I
didn’t think we would have Biggie in our lives any more, and I was absolutely
heartbroken over that thought; however, things are not as bad as I originally
thought they would be.
Since moving we have had Biggie here several times for a few
days at a time. He has easily
transitioned to being transported between the two homes for extended stays at
each. I’m not fond of his absence for
several weeks at a time, but this is better than not having him at all. I’ll take it.
A few days ago his mom sent us a short video of Biggie in
his new digs, and it made me very happy to see him having fun. I wish I were there, although this is the
next best thing.
